Kunda Duo is comprised of musicians Kocasalle Dioubate and Curtis Andrews. Dioubate is originally from Guinea (West Africa) and is a master of the djembe drum and other percussion instruments in addition to playing the kora (21-string African harp), balafon, bolon. Andrews is a multi-faceted musician who has decades of experience studying and playing the music of South India, Ghana, and jazz. Together they present a mixture of the known (traditional music) and the unknown (improvisations).
