Cellissimo

CELLISSIMO was formed by cellist Bo Peng at the Casalmaggiore International Music Festival in Italy in summer 2012. Since then, Cellissimo has become one of the major programmes of this 20-year old major European summer music festival. Each summer 3 weeks, in this charming historical Italian town, Bo leads a group of young cellists performing in different venues. Since 2015, Mr Bo Peng open the weekly cello ensemble classes in VSOSoM that represents the excellence of cello education in Vancouver

The VSO and VSO School of Music are excited for the return of Day of Music to Downtown Vancouver with FREE performances by musicians from across the Lower Mainland and beyond. Enjoy performances and activities by the VSO and others as we come together and celebrate the joy and fun of music.
