Azalea Chinese Music Ensemble is part of VSO SoM. Directed by composer and ruan player Zhimin Yu, the ensemble has more than 20 members, and has performed many important concerts for Chinese New Year, the VSO Day of Music, and especially at the prelude concert at Deer Lake in 2022. The players have high energy and passion to describe Chinese masterpieces.
