“Western Skies” // Four New Pieces for Solo Guitar
Share the Show
“Western Skies” will be a collection of ten new pieces for solo acoustic guitar geared towards bringing together North & South American percussive guitar traditions to paint sounds of powerful, vividly colored sunsets from two of my hometowns, Kelso, MO and Bellingham, WA. Four of these works will be showcased for the VSO Day of Music to serve as an entertaining template for musicians wishing to expand their ability in layering sound as a soloist. Scores will soon be available.
